Claire mixes eggs to make pancakes. She is getting pretty good at flipping them. Love that powdered sugar--it reminds us of New Orleans beinets which Claire remembers well!

What fun--a spontaneous sleep-over with Claire. We improvised a sleep outfit: Katie's shirt with the sleeves rolled up twice and a pair of Amanda's very elastic black tights to keep her legs warm--but how could she sleep without "Lambie"? The gray kitty will be just fine!

I'M HOME - WITH MARDI GRAS BEADS!

I was met at the SLC Airport about 11:00 p.m. by two handsome young men (Matthew and Michael) who assisted me in claiming my baggage and in getting back to my condo.  I was most anxious to look for my Apple power cord which I thought I might have left at home. i.e., no power cord, no working computer.  After a thorough search and conversations with "lost and found" at the airport, I bought a new power cord and stopped for fruit and vegetables at Walmart on my way home Monday night.  After unloading the plastic bags into my grocery cart for the trip in the elevator from the garage, what appeared to be in the bottom of my trunk?  My power cord!  This explains the delay in posting.  I wanted to talk to Peter via my computer camera before he forgets who I am.

Let me introduce you to the sweetest new granddaughter, Penny Lane, and her dynamic brother, Peter.

I had such fun getting to know my new granddaughter, Penny Lane, and my only grandson, Peter.  I am just learning how to take digital pictures and post them with Katie's older camera
